Recipe of Ultimate Nettie's Traditional Green Chili

traditional red green chili

Hello everyone, have a great day today. Today I show you how to prepare a special dish, an easy way to make a traditional green pepper in no time. One of my favourites. This time I'm going to make it a little unique. Its smell looks delicious.

When it comes to preparing healthy meals for your family, there are clearly some differences between situations. The good thing is that there are recipes that have become healthy, but the healthy mood of those recipes is somewhat convincing. What they don't know shouldn't hurt them in these cases (due to a sensitivity that should never be ignored).

This means that at some point in your cooking learning cycle, it is likely that someone will cook better and/or worse than you personally. Calm down, because the best have bad days when it comes to cooking. There are many men and women who are predisposed to various factors. Some cook for consumption and survival, while others cook because they like the whole process of eating. Some cook during emotional turmoil, while others cook out of sheer boredom. Whatever the purpose of cooking or understanding how to cook, you have to start with the basics.

First of all, not all good meals probably require actual cooking as a means of preparing them. Some will require the use of a microwave and others will need to be precooked or prepared and reheated. The possibilities are nearly limitless once you understand what kind of creative concept is really needed. You should also understand that many of these ideas are so simple, you will wonder why you never thought of them. I certainly hope some of these ideas will become the main features of your home.

Fabulous! Personally, I've been using very sweet peppers, but for the first time I'm a grower of green peppers, I'm very happy with it. Good flavour, perfect texture and colour.

Netty's Traditional Green Chili Ingredients and Seasoning:

  1. 2 pounds of pork, cut into small pieces
  2. 12 fresh tomatoes (chopped)
  3. 1 cup coarsely chopped onion
  4. 14 oz Swanson Chicken Stock
  5. 12 fresh green chilies, roasted, peeled and seeded - the chili will make the chili hotter (I had to google how to do this part and it's simple but a bit long and not included in the cooking time)
  6. 3 fresh jalapeno peppers, cut into cubes
  7. 1/4 cup flower
  8. 3 fresh garlic cloves
  9. 1 teaspoon onion powder
  10. 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  11. 2 tablespoons cumin
  12. 1 salt and pepper to taste

Steps for cooking traditional chili

  1. Season pork with salt and pepper and sprinkle with flower. Boil the water and drain it.
  2. Add onions, tomatoes, jalapenos, green pepper and spices. Cook until soft and light brown in colour. (I cooked the beef, onions, garlic and jalapenos first, put everything in the slow cooker, then cooked the rest, and finally added the seasoning to the slow cooker and tossed well)
  3. Pour the chicken broth into the slow cooker and bring to a boil. Add the roasted pork mixture. (I left out the broth because I like the green peppers to be thicker and found the mixture moist enough already)
  4. Boil on high heat for 5-6 hours. Add more broth if needed. Neither too thin nor too thick! (I didn't need)
  5. Flip the pot over low heat for a few more hours. The heat comes from the green pepper. Use Hot Hatch Green Chillies if you like!

While that's certainly not the end, this is all a guide to making quick and easy meals that are great food for thought. We hope you get creative and can prepare delicious meals for your family without the hassle of cooking supplies.
